Understanding my Mental Health and Wellbeing
This is a 4-week introductory course that learners can choose to attend either on an individual session basis or as a full course for a more in-depth understanding.
Throughout the course students will explore different types of eating problems; the possible causes, signs & symptoms where support can be accessed and how to support someone living with an eating difficulty.
Sessions cover an overview of the development and maintenance of eating disorders and an insight into the various treatment pathways, anorexia Nervosa, understanding Bulimia Nervosa, binge eating and understanding ARFID. This course is for anyone interested in learning more about eating difficulties and how to support their own wellbeing or the wellbeing of another.
The course has been co-produced and will usually be co-facilitated by individuals with professional experience and lived experience in an non-judgemental and supportive environment.
