Introduction to Mindfulness – online only

Looking After Myself
online only
Monday 1st June – 1pm-3pm
This workshop will provide learners with the opportunity to develop or acquire knowledge in mindfulness.
It will use this form of self-care to help people recognise the present moment and hopefully reduce stress or anxiety. The course aims to enable learners to be aware of negative thoughts and allowing a sense of control with identifying them. It will provide mindfulness techniques in hope that our learners can try implement these in the future and is designed for anybody looking to gain a sense of understanding around mindfulness and to apply this in day-to-day life.
Please note we ask you to bring to the session:
- Object to look at and touch
- Object to smell
- Something to eat (for mindful practice)
