FUTURE CARERS PROGRAMME Helping you to step on to the social care careers path

If you’re enthusiastic, enjoy working with people and have the ability to maintain relationships, a career in social care could open up a whole host of options to you.

To help get you on to the social care careers path, you can access free training through Barnsley Councils Future Carers programme.

Barnsley Council are  working with Adult Skills and Community Learning Services and Job Centre Plus to provide the programme.

If you have a genuine commitment to making sure people have a high quality of life and want to make a real difference to their lives, these courses will give you the skills, knowledge and work experience you’ll need to gain employment and begin a career in social care.
