British Sign Language Cafes

Barnsley Recovery College

April 9, 2021

**NEW DATES ADDED!**

BSL cafes are informal half-hour sessions for staff to learn a few signs and understand more about deaf culture.  The aim is for staff to understand more about deaf people’s needs and to be able to communicate with a few basic signs if deaf people are referred to services.

Maria Thomson (Care Navigator) leads the sessions.  If you would like to attend, please contact Maria on:

 maria.thomson3@nhs.net

Places are limited to enable everyone to participate and practice, so if you are interested contact Maria for the zoom link.
